In regard to the media report of CPDC for filing lawsuit against H. C. Tsai, the former President of CPDC, it is acknowledged as a personal incident which happened prior to the employment of Mr. Tsai’s as President of OUCC. Mr. Tsai shall cooperate with the Investigation Bureau to clarify the accountability. This incident has nothing to do with the business of OUCC, hence, the Company’s daily operation remain normal.
Moreover, the Company’s business or investment has no engagement whatsoever with the Core Union Chemical Corporation, which was aforementioned in the report, as well as its shareholders. OUCC’s major products include series of EO, EG, EOD, and so on, which are totally different than those of CPDC, either in raw material, processing technology, product category, or market application.
