Ethyleneamine, as a prominent chemical raw material, can be widely applied to the fields of petroleum, pesticides, pharmaceutical, light textiles, chemical fibers, papermaking, metallurgy and the like. The well-known manufacturers of ethyleneamine, such as Dow, BASF, Tosoh, Huntsman, Delamine BV, Diamines & Chemicals and AkzoNobel, etc., are actively planning on their layouts for the emerging markets, showcasting the spotlight drwan on the global growth of ethyleneamine.

Raw Materials Integration Combining Catalytic Development and Process Technology, Accomplishment of a Mass Production Plant Starting from Scratch

Mainly through multiple high-temperature and high-pressure reactions of ethanolamine (MEA) and ammonia come the ethyleneamine and its derivatives; and, the acquisition and operation of raw materials, technologies of catalysis, high-temperature & high-pressure process and purification sum up the key to its mass production. With innovative development as its core value, OUCC has established a variety of successful developments and achievements not only in catalytic territory, process design, but also in its dominant technologies in material synthesis, molecular structure design and formulation development. The plant, combining OUCC's edge in MEA, catalytic development, and engineering design, is scheduled to launch mass production in 2022.
